Why post-mitigation testing matters
A radon mitigation system is only as good as its performance. Fans can weaken, seals can crack, and building modifications can undermine the vacuum. EPA and ANSI/AARST protocols require a post-mitigation test within 24 hours to 30 days of activation, and every 24 months thereafter.
Our verification protocol
Testing is performed under strict EPA closed-house conditions using a calibrated continuous radon monitor. You receive:
- 48 hours of hourly radon concentration data
- Average concentration compared against pre-mitigation baseline
- Temperature, humidity and barometric pressure logs
- System performance verification and manometer check
- Written recommendations if any tuning is needed
Second-opinion testing
Suspicious of a contractor's post-mitigation test? We provide neutral third-party verification with fully documented chain of custody — often used in real estate disputes, warranty claims and insurance matters.
